KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced the latest product in their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," featuring "Kuon Yakushiji [Momozakura High School Uniform] Dreaming Style Diamond Heroine," slated for release in October 2025.
Kuon Yakushiji, a third-year student at Momozakura High School, may seem like a somewhat clumsy young lady in her daily life, but once in front of the camera, she transforms into a talented actress capable of brilliant performances. After entering the entertainment industry through extracurricular activities, this pampered young lady from a prestigious family has had the opportunity to portray a variety of roles, the most iconic of which is Maria Kagari, the heroine of the popular hero show "Infinite Encounter Megalomaria."
The "Kuon Yakushiji [Momozakura High School Uniform] Dreaming Style Diamond Heroine" is a modified version of the standard release. The molded colors for the collar, cuffs, and skirt parts have been changed to a grey-green, while the hair parts feature the same grey-blue tone as the previously announced "Kuon Yakushiji [Maria Kagari Outfit] Dreaming Style Blizzard Actress," showcasing a retro and elegant color scheme.
Aside from the color scheme, the rest of the content remains consistent with the standard version. It utilizes numerous new parts and new molded colors to recreate Kuon Yakushiji's everyday young lady appearance, including a new miko-like hairstyle and pre-painted expressions such as a calm "smiling face," a "fan service face," and a "laughing face."
For the lower body, it does not use the double joints or movable skirt parts from the [Maria Kagari Outfit]. Instead, it follows the same design as previous "Sousai Shojo Teien" characters, using newly sculpted parts to recreate the student leather shoe style. It also includes three types of skirt parts – "normal," "flowing," and "sitting" – to accommodate various poses.
The upper body parts adopt the sailor uniform specifications from the [Maria Kagari Outfit], with the white lines on the collar and cuffs pre-painted. It features articulation designs such as pull-out shoulder joints, double-jointed elbows, torso and abdomen joints for twisting front, back, left, and right, and a neck ball joint that can slide back and forth. These allow for various dynamic poses when combined with the new display stand, popsicle, school bag, mobile phone, and other accessories.
