A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) by user "Komugi (@kmgpn63)" has set the internet ablaze! Komugi shared a hilarious discovery from their trip to Spain, exclaiming, "They're selling a shield I recognize at a weapon shop here!" The post immediately struck a chord with countless netizens and legions of Nintendo fans.

Based on questions from fellow users and Komugi's replies, the shop is located in Toledo, Spain, a city renowned for its blades. Among the various exquisitely crafted weapon props, one particular shield grabbed everyone's attention: none other than the iconic "Hylian Shield," wielded by protagonist Link from Nintendo's legendary "The Legend of Zelda" (ゼルダの伝説) series!
Komugi actually confessed that they aren't super familiar with "The Legend of Zelda" games. In fact, they're a die-hard fan of "Octopath Traveler" (オクトパストラベラー)! But as a fellow otaku, spotting Link's shield in a Spanish weapon shop was too good to pass up, so they shared it on X, slyly using the moment to champion their beloved "Octopath Traveler" series.
Komugi also pointed out that Toledo is famous for its swords, so these kinds of weapon shops are everywhere. It's no surprise then that you might also find replicas of weapons belonging to characters like Zoro from "One Piece" or Kyojuro Rengoku from "Demon Slayer." Whether these are official merch or clever knock-offs, though, remains a mystery!

But wait, there's more! This Spanish weapon shop isn't just a haven for "The Legend of Zelda" fans. Other eagle-eyed netizens also spotted "Erdrick's Sword" from "Dragon Quest" (ドラゴンクエスト) hanging proudly from the ceiling!
One netizen even chimed in, joking that they've been so deep into "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) lately that they occasionally dream of battling monsters with a sword. They even pointed out a smaller sword in the shop that looked like their ideal weapon!
