ANIMA, the sub-brand of Hi-Fi headphone maker Acoustune, has been on a roll with fan-favorite collaborations, previously teaming up with hit anime series like Bocchi the Rock!, BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! / Ave Mujica, and the animated film Expelled from Paradise.
Now, they're diving into the dystopian world of Square Enix's acclaimed action RPG, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139..., to drop a brand-new pair of collaborative wireless Bluetooth over-ear headphones. Priced at ¥25,000, these beauties are already available for pre-order on ONKYO's official website.
Released in April 2021, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is the upgraded version of the original NieR Replicant. Set in a desolate future where humanity faces extinction, the game follows the young protagonist Nier on his quest to save his sister, Yonah, who is afflicted with the deadly Black Scrawl disease.
These headphones are based on ANIMA's highly-praised AOW03 model, originally designed with anime music in mind. They support both wired and wireless connections, giving music lovers the freedom to choose their preferred listening style.
Both earcups feature designs inspired by the game's unique world, giving them a mysterious, futuristic vibe!
But here's the real kicker: they come with exclusive voice guidance from Emil (CV: Mai Kadowaki)! You'll get 11 newly recorded lines for power on/off, pairing, touch sounds, and more, letting you enjoy your music with your favorite character by your side!
