Netflix Drops All 27 "Detective Conan" Movies, Builds Real-Life "Mouri Detective Agency" in Shibuya for Fans!

The annual "Detective Conan" movies are a fan favorite, and this year's 28th installment, "Detective Conan: The One-Eyed Afterimage," hit Japanese theaters on April 18. In just 10 days, it raked in over 6.3 billion JPY at the box office, proving to be a massive critical and commercial success.

Recently, last year's "Detective Conan" film, "Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram," dropped on Netflix, alongside all 26 previous movies, making it a complete collection of 27 films! To celebrate, Netflix even built a real-life "Mouri Detective Agency" in Tokyo's Shibuya, popping up right near the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing at ZeroBase Shibuya.

This pop-up "Mouri Detective Agency" in Shibuya ran from April 29 to May 5, boasting incredible authenticity. Fans were greeted at the entrance by life-sized cutouts of Kogoro Mouri, Ran, and Conan. The first floor perfectly recreated "Cafe Poirot," and even characters from this year's movie, the Nagano Prefecture detectives, were on standby for photo ops. The Netflix logo adorned the third-floor balcony, where Kaito Kid could also be spotted lurking!

Plus, on the first floor, visitors could grab a QR code flyer for "Mouri Detective Agency Case Files," which linked directly to a comprehensive list of all Conan-related titles available on Netflix – perfect for binge-watching!

On its opening day (April 29), the pop-up drew hordes of fans. With Japan in the midst of Golden Week holidays, it was the perfect time to visit Shibuya, whether as a standalone trip or after catching the new movie.
