Kishidan's Ayanokoji Show Shares Being Mistaken for "Golden Bomber" by a Store, Responds Humorously and Signs Autographs, Fans Praise: "This is the Demeanor an Idol Should Have"

Friends familiar with Japanese visual kei rock should be no stranger to "Kishidan." Characterized by the style of 80s Japanese delinquents and bosozoku, sunglasses and pompadours are the standard attire for the band members, making them a cool band in the eyes of many.

However, frontman Ayanokoji Show shared on X that after participating in the "Himeji Shirasagi ROCK FES 2025" music festival recently, when he and his bandmates went to a local izakaya for a meal, he was unexpectedly mistaken for another popular band, "Golden Bomber", by a young staff member, who enthusiastically presented a shikishi (autograph board) requesting a signature. This left him both amused and bewildered, but he responded with high emotional intelligence and humor, and the incident quickly became a hot topic on X.

Ayanokoji Show posted on X, sharing this anecdote, stating that although he is not a member of Golden Bomber, he is good friends with them. Therefore, he decided to respond "in a spirit of substitution," signing the shikishi with the name "ジェネリックゴールデンボンバー (Generic Golden Bomber)" and giving it to the staff. He also left a message thanking the staff for their enthusiasm: "Youngsters, thank you for accepting it! You must come see our performance next year!"

After the amusing incident came to light, it sparked heated discussion among fans, with many praising it: "Absolutely divine response," "Not generic, but the original," "This makes Kishidan even more likable."

However, considering the distinct styles of Kishidan and Golden Bomber, it seems quite unreasonable to mistake them for each other, LOL. Many netizens were astonished, wondering how such a mix-up could have happened...

Upon seeing this, Golden Bomber's vocalist, Kiryuuin Sho, who was mistaken for Ayanokoji, also responded humorously: "I was personally wandering around Himeji shopping street, and wasn't recognized at all. What's up with that...?"

Ayanokoji Show also jokingly mentioned in a subsequent post that although the youngsters seemed a bit disappointed, he still playfully promised, "Next time, I'll try my best to bring Golden Bomber along," and then just walked away, speaking as if he could actually make it happen (laughs).

Ayanokoji Show displayed a friendly and witty side, moving many netizens to comment: "This is the demeanor and charm an idol should possess."
