BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has announced the latest prize figure from the movie "Godzilla Minus One," the "Art Vignette Godzilla (2023) Ocean Image ver.," scheduled for official release on May 20, 2025.

The Godzilla (2023) that appeared in "Godzilla Minus One" was originally an ancient creature resembling a dinosaur, 15 meters tall, inhabiting the deep seas around Odo Island. It was called "Gojira" by the local residents. However, in 1946, after World War II, nuclear tests conducted by the US military near Bikini Atoll caused Gojira to mutate and grow into a 50-meter tall Godzilla. Its exaggerated regenerative abilities allowed it to recover instantly even after being bombarded by naval vessels, and it could emit high-power atomic breath from its mouth, equivalent to a nuclear bomb.

The "Art Vignette Godzilla (2023) Ocean Image ver." is presented in a massive size, approximately 27 cm in length, bringing to life the scene of Godzilla emerging from the sea and attacking ships. The overall sculpt meticulously captures its fierce, scarred head, the rough skin texture across its body, and the sharp, coral-like dorsal fins on its back. Color applications also highlight intricate details such as the inside of its mouth. The base uses transparent parts to represent the deep blue ocean, complete with waves generated by Godzilla's movement.
