Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division today at the "63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show" unveiled for the first time new plastic model kit prototypes from the video game series "Super Robot Wars OG": "HG Huckebein (PTX-08R)" and "HG Mass Production Gespenst Mk-II (Kai Kitamura's Unit)".
The "HG Huckebein (PTX-08R)" faithfully recreates the Huckebein, which first appeared in "4th Super Robot Wars" released in 1995, bringing to life the cool and refined design by mechanical designer Katoki Hajime. Although only a gray prototype has been exhibited so far, and the color separation and part division design are not yet visible, we can still eagerly anticipate the characteristic light blue color scheme of the finished product.
The "HG Mass Production Gespenst Mk-II (Kai Kitamura's Unit)" is currently displayed as a colored prototype. It is a modification of the previously released "Gespenst Mk-II" kit, reproducing Kai Kitamura's characteristic green paint scheme with new green molded exterior armor parts. The weapon accessories reproduce the "M950 Machine Gun" with new parts.
