PROOF Co., Ltd. (プルーフ), dedicated to the development and production of high-quality collectible toy models, has announced a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "Hitori Gotoh" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 16,500 JPY, scheduled for release in December 2025!
The story of "Bocchi the Rock!" follows the protagonist, "Bocchi" Hitori Gotoh, who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but due to her social anxiety, she has been unable to achieve it. One day after school, by chance, she met Nijika Ijichi, who was struggling to find a guitarist for her band, and thus joined "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, the two began their musical activities, and Bocchi gradually confronted her social anxiety.
This Hitori Gotoh 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 16 cm tall and is based on the scene from the first episode of the anime where Bocchi, too shy to face the crowd, performs on stage wearing a ripe mango box. The figure depicts Bocchi hiding inside the cardboard box, with sculpted details showcasing the wrinkles in her clothes and her hair strands as she curls up. Her distressed expression and the "Ripe Mango" text on the side of the box are faithfully reproduced through printing. The base also recreates the checkerboard-patterned floor of "STARRY." Although the box size is slightly smaller, it delicately captures Bocchi's helpless appearance before going on stage!
