Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Ultimate Premium Masterline" product series has officially announced its latest release from "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku", the "Gabimaru" (画眉丸) 1/4 scale full-body statue bonus version! Shipping is expected to begin from September to December 2026, with a suggested retail price of 195,690 JPY (tax included), limited to 300 units.
"Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku," created by Japanese manga artist Yuji Kaku, is set in the late Edo period of Japan. At that time, the Shogunate, in pursuit of the so-called "Elixir of Life," gathered numerous death row convicts with extraordinary talents and sent them to the mysterious island of "Shinsenkyo" (蓬萊) to search for the elixir of immortality. Each convict was monitored by an executioner from the Yamada Asaemon family. What was initially thought to be a simple quest for an item turned into a life-threatening crisis due to the various bizarre creatures and supernatural phenomena on Shinsenkyo Island.
The protagonist of this work, "Gabimaru," is one of these death row convicts. Despite his small stature, he is the strongest ninja from Iwagakure Village, capable of wielding the village's secret fire manipulation technique, "Ninjutsu: Katon" (火法師). This large-scale three-dimensional statue fully captures Gabimaru's agile combat stance and the magnificent flames unleashed by his Katon. In this 62 cm tall masterpiece, not only are there fiercely burning red flames, but also the blood sprayed by the bizarre creatures of Shinsenkyo. Upon closer inspection, one can also find human corpses with branches and flowers growing from them, centipede-like creatures with human faces, and unusually vibrant flowers, all perfectly conveying the eerie atmosphere of Shinsenkyo Island from "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku."
