Japanese company Aniplex has announced the latest scale figure product from the popular mobile game "Fate/Grand Order", the "Saber/Artoria Pendragon [Alter] Bunny Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure", slated for release in March 2026.
Artoria's Alter form (Black Saber) first appeared in the "Heaven's Feel" route of "Fate/stay night", where she was absorbed by Sakura Matou, who became the "Black Grail". Her body was corrupted by "all the evils in the world", manifesting her past doubts, self-reproach, and anger, transforming her into a cold, powerful tyrant, with even her Holy Sword stained black into a Demonic Sword. Due to her connection with Sakura Matou as the Holy Grail, Black Saber possesses nearly infinite magical energy, allowing her to continuously unleash the black-tinged "Excalibur Morgan".
The design for the "Saber/Artoria Pendragon [Alter] Bunny Ver." figure is based on an illustration by Takashi Takeuchi from the "2024 Premium Calendar" released by TYPE-MOON during Comic Market 103. The figure is crafted in a 1/7 scale, standing approximately 25 cm tall, faithfully recreating Black Saber's cool yet cute and sexy expression as depicted by Takeuchi-sensei.
The sculpt delicately captures Black Saber's slender physique and dynamic hair flow, while the high-gloss black and brown gradient paintwork reproduces the texture of each part of her bunny suit. Her small mouth, holding a french fry, appears even cuter in three dimensions, while the incredibly massive American burger set on the tray presents a realistic appearance that contrasts sharply with the main figure. It thoroughly recreates the texture and color of each ingredient, such as the patty, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sauces, making it truly mouth-watering. Black Saber's signature weapon, "Excalibur Morgan", is inserted into the top, serving as a burger skewer.
