FuRyu Prize, the prize division of Japan's FuRyu Corporation, has unveiled on its official X account three new items from its 'Trio-Try-iT' series, which focuses on developing challenging and appealing character figures. These popular classic works are themed after 'K-ON!' and feature 'Mio Akiyama,' 'Ritsu Tainaka,' and 'Tsumugi Kotobuki.' They are scheduled to be released as prize figures in October, November, and December 2025, respectively!

Houbunsha's representative work, 'K-ON!' (けいおん! K-ON!), is a four-panel manga series by Japanese manga artist kakifly. In 2009, Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime. The story begins when protagonist Yui Hirasawa mistakenly joins the Light Music Club, thinking 'light music' meant 'easy music,' and chronicles the relaxed and enjoyable daily lives of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club.

For this occasion, Trio-Try-iT has created original cat girl maid outfits for After-School Tea Time's bassist Mio-chan, drummer Ritsu-chan, and keyboardist Tsumugi-chan. They feature black cat, tabby, and white cat fur colors, respectively, crafting dynamic poses that suit each of their personalities. Mio-chan's shy expression is especially adorable! The sculpting faithfully recreates the maid uniform details, which are modified from the Sakuragaoka High School uniform, adding cat elements to the waist ties and skirt hems. Their sculpted skin appears incredibly smooth and delicate. Displaying them side-by-side feels like returning to the time spent with the club members in the Light Music Club when first watching K-ON!, showcasing the enduring youthful vitality of the Light Music Club!
