TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced a new product under its "Figuarts ZERO" character figure brand, specifically from the "EXTRA BATTLE" series which combines dynamic character poses with elaborate effect parts. The new item is a pre-painted figure of "Jewel Bonney -Near Death Experience-" from the popular anime and manga series One Piece. It will retail for 13,200 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2025!
"Big Eater" Jewel Bonney is the captain of the Bonney Pirates, hailing from the South Blue, and one of the 12 pirates of the Worst Generation. She is a user of the Age-Age Fruit, possessing the ability to alter the age of anyone she touches. After entering the New World, she immediately encountered and was defeated by the Blackbeard Pirates, who had just become one of the new Four Emperors. During the Reverie Arc, she infiltrated Mary Geoise disguised as Connie, the Queen Dowager of the Sorbet Kingdom, only to tragically discover that her father, Bartholomew Kuma, had been completely modified and enslaved by the Celestial Dragons, causing her immense grief.
This Figuarts ZERO "Jewel Bonney -Near Death Experience-" figure stands approximately 16.5 cm tall. It captures the scene from anime episode 1128 where she uses her "Near Death Experience" technique against the pursuing Marines. Smoke effect parts support her dynamic pose as she leaps into the air, legs spread, preparing to shoot. The sculpting faithfully reproduces the wrinkles and stylistic details of her futuristic attire. Her flowing hair and the shattered ground add powerful visual tension to the overall piece. The ground also features a pearlescent paint finish to recreate the futuristic aesthetic of Egghead Island, enhancing the overall texture and depth!
