Japan's KOTOBUKIYA toy company has unveiled three new pre-painted figures based on the popular anime "Shugo Chara!" – "Amu Hinamori," "Utau Hoshina," and "Amulet Heart" – on its official X account. These figures will be showcased first at the PEACH-PIT 25th Anniversary Special Exhibition, held from July 18 to August 14, 2025, at the special gallery on the 4th floor of Tokyu Plaza Harakado in Harajuku, Tokyo!
"Shugo Chara!" is a shojo manga series penned by the manga artist duo PEACH-PIT. It was adapted into a TV anime by SATELIGHT in 2007. The story follows protagonist Amu Hinamori and the "Guardian Stars," an organization of students at Seiyo Academy who possess "Guardian Characters." Together, they search for the magical eggs known as "Humpty Locks" that can grant any dream or wish, while also resolving various incidents caused by "X-Eggs" sent out by the evil organization "EASTER," which is also searching for Humpty Locks and corrupting people's hearts.
Among the three products unveiled by KOTOBUKIYA this time, the "Amu Hinamori" figure brings to life Amu's pose from the original anime official poster, where she's wearing her Seiyo Academy uniform and making a peace sign. The figure captures a strong sense of dynamism through the folds of her clothing and her flowing hair, exuding adorable charm! Official product information will be released on August 1st, and we will follow up with a full report for all toy enthusiasts!
For Utau, the figure features her in a black one-piece dress, meticulously recreating details such as her long yellow twin tails and the lace on her skirt. The "Amulet Heart" figure is currently only revealed as a gray prototype, bringing to life Amu and Ran's attack pose, showcasing a vibrant and energetic appearance with flowing pom-poms and swirling ribbons! All three finished products come with representative symbolic bases, which will perfectly enhance the characters' charm. Further details will be announced later, and we are highly anticipating them!
