Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its high-quality figure series "G.E.M.", has announced its latest product based on the TV anime "Gintama 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei": the "G.E.M. Sakata Ginpachi Reiwa Ver." PVC painted finished product! The suggested retail price is 17,600 Japanese Yen, and it is scheduled for release in January 2026.
The spin-off work of "Gintama", "Gintama 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei", is a novel co-written by Hideaki Sorachi and Tomohito Osaki. It combines characters from "Gintama" with a school comedy setting, telling the hilarious stories that unfold in Class 3-Z at Gintama High School, led by homeroom teacher Ginpachi Sakata. The anime adaptation is scheduled to air in October 2025!
The "G.E.M. Sakata Ginpachi Reiwa Ver." PVC painted finished product is based on the G.E.M. Ginpachi-sensei figure released in 2013, returning with a "Reiwa version" image and an adjusted paint scheme to match the anime's color settings! Standing approximately 22 cm tall, his white robe flows naturally, and his signature deadpan eyes and lollipop-cigarette pose are classic and cool. In his left hand, he holds his beloved "Jump" magazine and the "Good Child Japanese" textbook for class. With interchangeable parts, he can instantly switch to holding a strawberry cake for a sugar boost~ Another notable detail is that his slippers have also been changed to a more casual style~ Are you ready for Ginpachi-sensei's class?
