Japanese toy company KOTOBUKIYA has officially unveiled a new product based on the popular anime "Shugo Chara!" – the "Amu Hinamori School Uniform ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It is priced at 22,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2026!
"Shugo Chara!" is a shojo manga series penned by the manga artist duo PEACH-PIT. In 2007, it was adapted into a TV anime by SATELIGHT. The story follows the protagonist Amu as she, along with the Guardians – an organization of students from Seiyo Academy who possess "Shugo Chara" (Guardian Characters) – searches for the magical egg "Embryo," which can grant any dream and wish. Simultaneously, they resolve various incidents caused by "X-Eggs" (Corrupted Eggs) dispatched by the evil organization EASTER, which is also seeking the Embryo and aims to corrupt people's hearts.
This Amu Hinamori School Uniform ver. 1/7 scale pre-painted figure is a special release commemorating the 20th anniversary of "Shugo Chara!"'s serialization. The figure stands approximately 20.6 cm tall and is based on Amu's pose from the anime's official poster, where she is wearing her Seiyo Academy uniform and making a peace sign. The sculpted details meticulously capture the wrinkles of her uniform shirt, pleated skirt, and bubble socks. Accessories such as her tie, belt, and the box at her waist are also faithfully reproduced with no compromise on detail!
The paintwork faithfully recreates her iconic pink hair color. The red and black plaid patterns on her skirt, socks, and the box at her waist are reproduced through printing, and shading has been applied to deepen the shadows, giving the overall appearance a more refined and sophisticated look! The base appears to be inspired by Amu's usual hair accessories, crafted into an X-shape and printed with the representative symbols of Amu's Shugo Chara, perfectly showcasing Amu's image from the series! Furthermore, pre-orders placed on the KOTOBUKIYA official website will include an exclusive bonus: a playful tongue-out expression part for Amu, offering even more diverse and adorable display options!
