Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its "G.E.M." brand which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life in 3D, is releasing a new product in its "Palm (Tenohira)" series based on the popular anime "Haikyuu!!": the "Hinata Shoyo Second Color Ver." pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 7,920 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in late February 2026!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed anime and manga series originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted by the Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The story follows the protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who, despite his short stature, possesses an immense passion for volleyball. After joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, once a powerhouse, he and his teammates overcome challenges, taking on one strong school after another as they aim for the national championship.
This "Palm Hinata Shoyo Second Color Ver." stands approximately 9 cm tall. It is a recolored version based on the previously released 2023 edition, depicting Shoyo sitting down, resting, and drinking a beverage. The sculpting delicately captures the muscle lines of Shoyo's arms and legs, while the wrinkles of his jersey and the detailed design of his volleyball shoes are exquisitely reproduced! The Second Color version features Karasuno's light-colored jersey design, with a vibrant orange as the main color, faithfully recreating the look. The jersey's number and "Karasuno" lettering are also printed, offering a different visual experience from the original, and the vivid color scheme makes it even more striking when held in your hand!
It definitely has to be displayed alongside the Kageyama released simultaneously!
