Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has announced the commercialization of its latest work from "Ultraman Tiga," "Ultraman Tiga Sky Type." Pre-orders are expected to begin on September 19, 2025.
Ultraman Tiga, in its setting, is an ancient "Giant of Light" who protected Earth 30 million years ago. After defeating the dark demon, his body turned into a stone statue, sleeping in a pyramid deep in the mountains. It wasn't until 30 million years later that he merged with GUTS member Daigo Madoka to once again fight against the dark evil god Gatanothor, who sought to destroy civilization. This work was the first to introduce the form change setting, allowing Tiga to switch between the Multi Type, which balances power and speed; the Sky Type, specialized in speed and technique; and the Power Type, specialized in power and endurance.
