The 13th installment of the Ultraman articulated figure Shokugan series "Shodo Alpha", released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. of Japan, titled "Shodo Alpha Ultraman 13", is set to be officially released on September 29, 2026.
"Shodo Alpha" is an evolved version launched in 2022, based on the previous Shodo series. It is an Ultraman-themed articulated figure Shokugan, standing approximately 10 cm tall, featuring sculpts and colors that faithfully reproduce their designs. Compared to the old version, a new independent movable part has been added to the hip joint, enhancing the leg sculpt and range of motion. Each Ultraman figure will come with its dedicated beam effect part, and can be combined with numerous weapons from the expansion parts set for play.
The 13th installment features four characters: Ultraman Omega, the protagonist of the latest series, Ultraman Max, Ultraman X, and Ultraman King. Each character, except for Omega, comes with their signature beam effect part. Omega features a detachable head boomerang design and can change forms using a dedicated "Regenesis Armor & Trigaloon Armor" set. The expansion parts set includes dedicated weapons for Regenesis Armor and Trigaloon Armor, King's Hammer, Max's "Max Galaxy", and X's "Gomora Armor".
