The anime "Bocchi the Rock!" exploded onto the scene with massive popularity and buzz, maintaining high discussion even after its first season wrapped. Last year's compilation movie drew huge crowds, and finally, in February this year, the announcement dropped: Season 2 is officially in production!
Today (October 15), Japanese instrument manufacturer Yamaha announced they're releasing a perfect real-life replica of the "Custom Pacifica" guitar Hitori Gotoh bought in episode 12 of "Bocchi the Rock!" anime. Dubbed the "PACIFICA611V BTR LTD," this limited edition axe will retail for 121,000 JPY. It'll be available via a lottery system across three pre-order waves through the Aniplex official online store, Yamaha Music direct stores, and Sheet Music Store.

This is *the* guitar Bocchi snagged in the final episode of the first season. Yamaha, in collaboration with the official supervisors, has meticulously recreated the original "Pacifica" style from the anime.

And this isn't just some slap-dash repaint! Since the standard PACIFICA611VFM couldn't quite nail the anime's finish and texture, the development team went back to the drawing board, fine-tuning the color and neck coating. Their mission? To truly replicate "the one from the anime" custom edition.

The back of the headstock features the model name and a unique serial number, laser-engraved for authenticity. Following the anime's design, the back of the neck boasts a matte satin finish that lets the wood grain shine through. Staying true to its on-screen counterpart, the body is a high-gloss black (without wood grain), and even the pickguard is uniformly black, creating a sleek, cool all-black aesthetic.

Hardware-wise, this guitar is loaded! It sports a black-covered Seymour Duncan SP-90 in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan TB-14 in the bridge, both mounted with chrome fixed frames. Grover locking tuners keep things in tune, while a Wilkinson VS-50 bridge ensures rock-solid performance. It's a guitar that pays extreme attention to every detail, completely faithful to the anime's specifications.

Each guitar comes with a specially designed custom gig bag, featuring the official "Bocchi the Rock!" logo printed on the strap. Plus, the laser-engraved serial number on the back of the neck matches the number on the official certification, proving this is the real deal limited edition.
