Japanese company F-toys Confect, which has released numerous object and prop shokugan, will launch a new shokugan product themed around Sanrio Characters – the "Sanrio Characters HONDA Super CUB" 1/24 scale pre-painted assembly model. The suggested retail price is 858 JPY per box, and it is scheduled for release on February 23, 2026!
The HONDA Super CUB, also known as the Honda Cub, is a series of motorcycles developed from a 50cc four-stroke two-wheeled motorcycle launched by Honda in 1958. Its design falls between a scooter and a motorcycle. As of 2024, over 110 million units have been sold, earning it a reputation as a 20th-century industrial and transportation icon, alongside vehicles like the Ford Model T and Volkswagen Beetle!
This "Sanrio Characters HONDA Super CUB" transforms the classic Super CUB into a 1/24 scale pre-painted assembly model. In addition to the red CUB released last year to commemorate Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, various other colors are also available. Each corresponding color features a Sanrio character's design printed on the white side cover, with the character's English name written on both sides of the rear fender. The collection includes 10 types: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, Bad Badtz-Maru, Hangyodon, Keroppi, and Minna no Tabo. These small-scale models exquisitely recreate the timeless classic design of the Super CUB, and paired with the adorable Sanrio character designs, they are simply irresistible. Toy enthusiasts who love Super CUB and Sanrio Characters, don't miss out!
