Released by GODZILLA ROOM, the IP management department for Toho Co., Ltd.'s "Godzilla" series, the assembly model kit line featuring Toho's monsters, "TOHO MONSTERS KIT", has announced its latest product from the movie "Godzilla Minus One", "Godzilla (2023)", scheduled for release in January 2026.
The Godzilla (2023) that appeared in "Godzilla Minus One" was originally an ancient creature resembling a dinosaur, 15 meters tall, inhabiting the deep seas around Odo Island, and was called "Gojira" by the local residents. However, in 1946, after World War II, nuclear tests conducted by the US military near Bikini Atoll caused Gojira to mutate and grow into a 50-meter-tall Godzilla. Its exaggerated regenerative abilities allowed it to recover instantly even after being bombarded by warships, and it could unleash a nuclear-bomb-level, high-power atomic breath from its mouth.
The "TOHO MONSTERS KIT Godzilla (2023)" is an assembly model kit that stands approximately 14 cm tall when completed. Its lower jaw is articulated for opening and closing, and its tail features three points of rotational articulation. The parts are molded in a single dark gray color, boasting highly detailed sculpting and a segmented design that minimizes visible seams. It faithfully recreates its extremely robust physique, the rough, rock-like skin texture across its entire body, and its large, sharp dorsal fins that differ significantly from previous Godzilla iterations. With custom painting, you can further enhance Godzilla's impressive appearance!
