Japanese toy company Megahouse (株式会社メガハウス) has announced the latest addition to its "DESKTOP REAL McCOY EX" series, which specializes in bringing classic illustrations to life in three dimensions. The new product, a pre-painted figure of "Son Goku & Motorcycle" (孫悟空＆バイク), is from "Dragon Ball Z"! It is scheduled to ship in late May 2026, with a suggested retail price of 27,280 JPY.
Launched in 2010, "DESKTOP REAL McCOY" is a series of finished figures that transform classic cover illustrations from "Dragon Ball" and "One Piece" into three-dimensional masterpieces. After the release of "Son Goku & Bulma" in 2018, the series is finally making a long-awaited return in 2024 with a higher-quality EX revival, featuring a new product from "Dragon Ball" that highlights the unique vehicle charm from Akira Toriyama-sensei's pen. This is undoubtedly a great boon for Dragon Ball fans.
This piece stands approximately 14 cm tall and measures 18 cm in length, capturing the scene of Goku speeding along on his motorcycle. His vibrant, radiant smile and the helmet flying backward, barely worn, perfectly convey Goku's exhilarated mood, while the strong wrinkles in his clothing express the sensation of rapid motion. The intricate detailing of the motorcycle is also a major highlight, including the rubber-textured tires, engine, drive chain, as well as military-style accessories like ammunition boxes and rifles, all rendered with incredible precision. Coupled with the asymmetrical design on both sides of the motorcycle, it's truly something you can admire for a long time! Absolutely fantastic.
