GASHAPON "Anxious Wait K-ON! Light Music Club Edition" Gashapon, Come and Wait with After-School Tea Time!

Bandai's GASHAPON division is set to release a new product under its popular "Machibouke" (Waiting) series, themed after the classic anime "K-ON! Light Music Club"—the "Anxious Wait K-ON! Light Music Club Edition." The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled for release in late January 2026!

Houbunsha's iconic "K-ON! Light Music Club" (けいおん! K-ON!) is a work published in yonkoma (four-panel comic strip) format by Japanese manga artist kakifly. It was adapted into a TV anime by Kyoto Animation in 2009. The story unfolds as protagonist Yui Hirasawa mistakenly joins the Light Music Club, thinking "light music" meant "easy music," depicting the relaxed and fun daily lives of the Sakuragaoka High School Light Music Club.

This "Anxious Wait K-ON! Light Music Club Edition" features the members of After-School Tea Time from the series, sculpted in an approximately 2.5-head-tall proportion. It includes five types: Yui Hirasawa, Mio Akiyama, Ritsu Tainaka, Tsumugi Kotobuki, and Azusa Nakano. At an approximate size of 4.5 cm, the girls' hairstyles and the intricate details of their Sakuragaoka High School uniforms are delicately reproduced in a cute style. They are all crafted in a kneeling waiting pose, and with their glistening eyes, their adorable and pitiful appearance, when lined up, is simply irresistible!
