BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the upcoming release of a brand-new character product for their original mecha musume themed plastic model kit series, '30 MINUTES SISTERS'. The 'SIS-J00 Melnja [Color A]' is slated for release in June 2026.
Similar to previously released characters like 'Sorei' and 'Juliami', Melnja is a new sister designed by the renowned illustrator ANMI, known for character designs in mobile games such as 'Arknights' and 'Girls' Frontline'. Melnja's design also deviates from the widespread mechanical aesthetic of other characters in the series, focusing instead on a 'fabric' texture for her attire. Her adorable bear-themed pajamas, combined with a terrifying chainsaw, create a striking and memorable contrast moe.
The 'SIS-J00 Melnja [Color A]' utilizes multi-color molded parts to faithfully reproduce her charming character design and features a highly articulated body. Through interchangeable parts, her distinctive bear-ear hood can be freely attached or removed, and her sleeves offer two different shape options. Three pre-printed face parts are included for expression changes, with the pink of her mouth crafted as a separate piece. Additionally, eye patch decals can be applied for even greater stylistic variation. Her weapon, the 'chainsaw,' is rendered in adorable pink and light purple color schemes, with intricate details like chains and saw teeth also meticulously sculpted.
