The new branch series "MODEROID DX-SCALE," launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, featuring enhanced size, color separation, and detailed sculpting, has announced its latest product from the light novel "Knight's & Magic," "Kasasagi," slated for release in July 2026.

Kasasagi is a Silhouette Knight temporarily modified by protagonist Ernesti Echevalier using the wreckage of Ikaruga after it was shot down during an investigation of the "Impure Beast" in the Great Bokusu Forest. Although this unit lacks a lower body and its performance is far inferior to Ikaruga, Ernesti's newly designed "Open-Type Ether Reactor" grants it the ability to "float and fly along with surrounding objects," bringing revolutionary technological advancements to next-generation Silhouette Knights. This unit can also combine with the repaired Ikaruga to form the enhanced "Magatsu Ikaruga," which boasts significantly improved overall performance.

"MODEROID DX-SCALE Kasasagi" is produced at the same scale as the "DX-SCALE Ikaruga (Original Version)," utilizing precise part separation and a rich array of molded colors to recreate the multi-layered structure of its body and several flight units on its back. Its four arms and the base of each unit feature articulated joint designs, allowing it to be displayed in a floating state with the included dedicated stand.

Furthermore, the model also recreates the combination mechanism with the separately sold "DX-SCALE Ikaruga (Original Version)." By retracting Kasasagi's head and connecting its side joints to Ikaruga's back, it can combine into the fully performance-enhanced form "Magatsu Ikaruga," boasting an impressive size of approximately 24.4 cm in height and 18.5 cm in width, allowing for dynamic poses with all 10 arms.
