The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company has announced the latest product in its original plastic model kit series, '30 MINUTES FANTASY,' which is themed around a fantasy world: the "Drow Wyvern," scheduled for release in June 2026.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various occupations in a fantasy world. It inherits the 30 MINUTES series' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization, allowing for the assembly of highly articulated base bodies as flexible as the human form. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different occupational armor can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can progressively upgrade from beginner to advanced occupations, constantly strengthening characters, much like a job change system in an RPG.
The newly introduced "Drow Wyvern" is one of the monsters inhabiting the story's world, encountered during adventures, and can also be tamed as a flying mount. The kit features two molded colors, dark green and light green, for the wyvern's main body. Its design combines biological muscle lines, scales, and metallic armor on various parts of its body. The red elemental core on its chest is made with clear parts. Its four limbs feature flexible articulated joints, while its wings and eye visor have opening and closing mechanisms. With the saddle and reins parts on its back, it can become a mount, allowing 30MF series characters to ride it.
