Following the release of "Okarun (Transformed)," the popular "Revoltech" (リボルテック) action figure series from Japanese toy company Kaiyodo (KAIYODO), based on Yukinobu Tatsu's Japanese manga "Dandadan" (ダンダダン), has once again announced its next installment: the "Jiji (Transformed)" (ジジ（変身）) action figure! It is scheduled for release in July 2026, with a suggested retail price of 9,000 JPY.
Jiji, the genius psychic boy who transforms with the power of the "Evil Eye," is now materialized in the Revoltech series! Standing approximately 16 cm tall, the figure perfectly recreates his iconic transformed appearance, wearing only underwear and boasting a robust, muscular physique! The sculpting of his brow is also meticulously detailed. To faithfully reproduce Evil Eye's kick-focused fighting style, Jiji's body specifically emphasizes leg articulation and segmentation, allowing for wide-ranging leg movements while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the hip joints! Paired with the spherical Curse Orb (呪いの玉) and a stand, you can recreate highly dynamic and visually impactful battle poses!
Accessories include multiple interchangeable face plates with an annoyed expression, multiple interchangeable hands, and High-Speed Grandma (Maneki-neko). Unlike the High-Speed Grandma included with the Okarun (Transformed) figure from the same series, this version features an indifferent expression. Additionally, the Curse Orb features a special paint application that changes its appearance between blue and purple depending on the angle of light!
