Danish toy company LEGO officially unveiled yesterday (3rd) the first new product in collaboration with the FIFA World Cup 2026 under its "LEGO Editions" series: "43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy"! It is scheduled for release on March 1, 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$199.99. LEGO Taiwan also announced that from now until February 28, 2026, anyone who pre-orders this FIFA World Cup Official Trophy will also receive a limited edition "Official Trophy" collectible card with a brick. According to LEGO's official press release, the new LEGO Editions will be a series that connects collectors with their idols and passions. This LEGO FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, built with a total of 2842 pieces, stands approximately 36 cm tall when completed. The entire model is crafted at a 1:1 scale, faithfully recreating the trophy's contours, allowing toy enthusiasts to personally hold the coveted glory that captivates the world. This set also marks the first time LEGO has used such a large quantity of gold elements in a brick-built model, making it truly magnificent!!
Beyond its beautiful appearance and substantial size, LEGO has, of course, also incorporated some fantastic surprises! A hidden compartment at the top can be accessed through the spherical area above the trophy, designed to place the exclusive 2026 World Cup minifigure and a mini World Cup trophy inside. According to official LEGO information, the base is not just aesthetically pleasing; it also features the names of all winning teams from 1974 to the present. Football fans are sure to be thrilled!
