The ROBOT Damashii series of robot-themed articulated figures, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has officially announced the latest product from the anime *Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX*, the "Hyperized Gundam (GQ)", scheduled for release in June 2026.
Appearing in *Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX*, the RX-78-2 Gundam is a mysterious mobile suit summoned by Shuji Ito from the "other side of the world." In the countless parallel worlds created by Lalah Sune, her beloved Char always meets his end at the hands of this white devil. The mobile suit's exterior design deliberately closely resembles the Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray in the main timeline's *Mobile Suit Gundam*. Upon its arrival in the GQ world, its anomalous existence continuously emitted "Zekunova" reactions, even allowing it to defy logic and hyperize its body dozens of times over.
The "ROBOT Damashii Hyperized Gundam (GQ)" is produced in an impressive 40 cm tall size. Its overall design continues that of the "METAL ROBOT Damashii Gundam (GQ)," faithfully recreating the refined armor reminiscent of the original Gundam, its crimson eyes, and its greyish-white body color. The elbow and knee joints adopt a single-axis articulation design to pursue the in-show appearance, yet the massive body still possesses flexible posability. With the front and rear segmented structure of the waist armor, various dynamic battle poses can be achieved.
Accessories include multiple interchangeable hand parts and two beam saber effect parts to recreate the appearance of wielding two massive beam sabers. It also comes with a mini figure of "GFred" held in its hand, and a mini figure of GQuuuuuuX unleashing its "Hyper Beam Tomahawk," allowing for the recreation of famous scenes from the final battle. The "Hyper Beam Tomahawk" effect part measures 30 cm in length and can be equipped by the separately sold "METAL ROBOT Damashii GQuuuuuuX."
