Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, which issues the "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)" series that sculpts from the skeletal structure to give special effects heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has officially announced the latest product from "Kamen Rider Ryuki," "Kamen Rider Ouja," slated for release in August 2026.
Kamen Rider Ouja, transformed by Takeshi Asakura, is a highly popular villain in "Kamen Rider Ryuki." He was originally a heinous murderer who committed numerous acts of violence and killing for trivial reasons such as irritation, possessing an extremely brutal and insidious personality, stopping at nothing. Later, with the help of Shiro Kanzaki, the mastermind behind the Rider War, he escaped from prison and obtained a Rider Deck to transform into Kamen Rider Ouja, becoming an accelerant for the Rider War. He not only possesses powerful combat abilities but also has the capacity to hold multiple contracts. In addition to his own Venosnaker, he also acquired the contract monsters Evildiver and Metalgelas after defeating Kamen Rider Raia and Kamen Rider Gai, allowing them to combine into the monstrous "Unite Vent."
The "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Ouja" is produced with an articulated specification of approximately 14.5 cm in height. The body sculpt aims to replicate the appearance of the suit actor wearing the costume in the show, utilizing multiple new parts for the upper arms, abdomen, waist, and thighs to reproduce a different silhouette from Ryuki. The wrinkles and details of the black areas are meticulously sculpted, pursuing the realistic texture of the special reinforced skin. The armor parts on the head, chest, and other areas, as well as the belt, are finished with rich metallic paint in gold, silver, and purple, expressing a heavy metallic texture.
The articulation design is based on human anatomy, with precisely segmented parts throughout the body, allowing various joints to bend without compromising the overall sculpt, enabling a wide range of natural poses, including the high-kick posture for his finishing move. Coupled with the included 7 types of left hands and 6 types of right hands, you can recreate Ouja's arrogant laughter and his finger-pointing gesture towards opponents from the show.
Accessories include Ouja's characteristic staff-type summoner, the "Venovisor." In addition to the meticulously crafted cobra-shaped staff head, it also reproduces the opening and closing mechanism of the card slot at the top, allowing the included 8 types of PET "Advent Cards" to be loaded. Furthermore, the dedicated weapon "Veno Saber," separated from Venosnaker's tail, is also crafted to a proportion suitable for Ouja to wield, allowing for dynamic combat poses.
