The popular assembly model shokugan "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" series, released by BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., announced the latest product from the robot anime "GEAR Fighter Dendoh", the "Dendoh & Kiba Striker Final Attack Set", scheduled for release in June 2026.
Standing nearly 25 meters tall, "GEAR Fighter Dendoh" was originally one of the super robots built by the ancient civilization of Alktos. After the planet was destroyed by the mechanical lifeform Galfa, the surviving Princess Vega discovered Dendoh and fled to Earth. With the help of Earthlings, she established the secret defense organization "GEAR", using Dendoh as their ultimate trump card to prevent Galfa from annihilating humanity in the future. Seventeen years later, when Galfa sent countless "Machine Beasts" to attack Earth, two boys, Hokuto Kusanagi and Ginga Izumo, were chosen as Dendoh's pilots and successfully defeated the Machine Beasts, subsequently resolving to fight to the end as humanity's last hope.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of "GEAR Fighter Dendoh", the "SMP Dendoh & Kiba Striker Final Attack Set" re-releases the previously launched "Dendoh" and "Beast King Kiba" from the SUPER MINIPLA / SMP series as a set. The entire machine's molded parts and color paintwork have been replaced with three brilliant golden molded colors and various golden paint applications, recreating the appearance of its entire body shining with golden light when performing the "Final Attack" in the show.
The Dendoh main body stands approximately 14 cm tall, with its overall design largely reproduced based on the anime settings, featuring a cool appearance and flexible articulation. The head's face mask can be freely opened and closed via an articulated mechanism, and the backpack recreates the battery part exchange mechanism. Paired with three different pairs of interchangeable hands, it can be posed dynamically performing martial arts moves such as "Wave Dragon Strike" and "Gale Dash Kick".
The Beast King Kiba also features a mechanism to transform from its standard beast form into "Kiba Striker", "Kiba Tamer", and "Kiba Slicer". Among these, the "Kiba Striker" form, primarily used by Dendoh, can be combined with the Dendoh main body to recreate cool bow-shooting poses, accompanied by brilliant golden light, reproducing the scene of performing the "Final Attack".
