World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled new merchandise from the popular DC comic series Absolute Batman—the "Batman" 1/6th scale collectible figure, available in both regular and special editions. The suggested retail prices are US$385 and US$400 respectively, with an estimated release in June 2027!
Absolute Batman is a Batman storyline within the Absolute Universe, launched by DC's "DC All In" comic initiative starting in October 2024, continuing the major event Absolute Power. It tells the story of a parallel universe where Bruce Wayne is a working-class man from the slums, not a billionaire, who becomes Batman after his father's martyrdom.
This Hot Toys Absolute Batman figure stands approximately 37 cm tall and features a highly muscular seamless body made of soft plastic material, perfectly recreating the muscle lines and costume design while presenting fluid, seamless joint articulation, showcasing an explosive physique! The neck and shoulder armor of the suit can be swapped between short-spike and long-spike designs, allowing collectors to choose between a sleek look and an extremely aggressive appearance!
The mixed-material cape has hidden wires on the sides, allowing it to be spread out into a bat-wing mode for various dynamic poses. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands, three interchangeable lower face sculpts, a pistol, and one long and one short axe handle. These can be combined with the magnetically detachable Bat-symbol on the chest to recreate brutal combat scenes where the symbol is used as a weapon! The overwhelming presence, distinctive weapons, and highly dramatic cape system perfectly capture the power of Absolute Batman!
Furthermore, the special edition will include an exclusive cape accessory with a brand-new design, featuring a separate cape strap and shoulder cape style. The overall visual is more understated and somber, and it also has hidden wires on the sides, allowing for various dynamic poses as needed!
