SQEX MASTERLINE "FF7RB Aerith Gainsborough" Latest Information Revealed: Expressing Dynamic and Static Costume Designs with Mixed Materials!

Japanese company SQUARE ENIX, in collaboration with renowned statue brand Prime 1 Studio, has announced the latest information for the "Aerith Gainsborough" product, part of their Polystone statue collection series "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE", which features their IPs and is based on FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH.

One of the heroines, Aerith Gainsborough, is a flower girl living on the streets of Midgar. She is mature, gentle, and cheerful, cultivating flowers that shouldn't grow in the abandoned church. When she first met Cloud, she felt he resembled her first love, "Zack," from five years ago, but the amnesiac Cloud paid no mind. Aerith is also the last surviving "Ancient," capable of communicating with the Planet and manipulating its power, thus under strict Shinra surveillance.

The "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE Aerith Gainsborough", like the previous three works in the series, is produced in 1/4 scale. Its high-resolution, precise sculpting thoroughly recreates her beautiful facial features and voluminous, light-textured hair. Color painting is applied to express the light and shadow of each part, her highly translucent green pupils, and rosy, lustrous lips, bringing her captivating in-game appearance vividly to life.

The costume design marks the series' first attempt at using mixed materials. Her distinctive red jacket is meticulously sculpted from resin to capture leather textures and wrinkles, along with details like buttons, zippers, and metal ornaments. Fine color painting is also used to create the aged texture of the leather and metal. The pink dress, on the other hand, is sewn from fabric, recreating its pleats and ruffles, and can gently sway with a breeze, allowing one to appreciate Aerith's elegant form in both dynamic and static states.

For accessories, three of Aerith's weapons are included and can be freely interchanged: "Guard Stick," "Mythril Rod," and "Gambanteinn." Each weapon features intricate mechanical details and metallic textures. By swapping out head and hand parts, Aerith's beautiful pose of closing her eyes in prayer and listening to the Planet's voice can also be recreated. The base shares the same theme as Cloud's and the previous three works, combining dark black rock with a hexagonal three-dimensional design. A small puddle is meticulously crafted at Aerith's feet, showing ripples on the water's surface and aurora-like colors.
