Japanese model manufacturer KOTOBUKIYA has announced that a new product, "Kagutsuchi-Kou," will be released in January 2026 as part of its popular mecha girl plastic model series, "Frame Arms Girl."

The Frame Arms "Type 48 Kagutsuchi" series, designed by mechanical designer Wataru Inada, is a classic machine that pursues the realism of combat machines and showcases the functional beauty of its various mechanisms. For this product, Japanese illustrator Do-Yu has transformed Kagutsuchi into a beautiful girl, embodying Kagutsuchi's characteristic super-heavy armor design on an extremely voluptuous girl body, while perfectly inheriting its pure and utilitarian armament.
"Frame Arms Girl Kagutsuchi-Kou" is made with entirely new parts, faithfully reproducing the series' most voluptuous body sculpt ever. In its unarmed body form, Kagutsuchi-Kou boasts flexible movable joint designs. The exceptionally large chest parts are not only visually striking but also incorporate a ball-joint mechanism allowing multi-directional movement. The underwear parts also feature a front-to-back rotating axis to express bending forward and backward, enabling a variety of natural and cute poses. It comes with three pre-painted face parts and five pairs of PVC interchangeable hand parts, allowing for delicate emotional and action expressions.

By replacing some parts to equip its full armament, Kagutsuchi-Kou can achieve an armed form that closely reproduces the silhouette of its original machine. Auxiliary mechanical arms are provided on the wrists and waist for grasping and holding large weapons. The high-speed mobility roller units on the legs and the large skirt armor, which conceals two thrusters at the rear of the waist, can all be deployed and articulated.

For weapons, it includes a "Large Rifle" and a "Large Shield," designed identically to the original Frame Arms. The large shield also reproduces its design of being composed of multiple identical parts, allowing each armor piece to be freely detached, attached, and adjusted to change the shield's size. Furthermore, these armor pieces can even be attached under the feet to be used as snowshoes for walking on soft snow.
