Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced a new spin-off character product, the "Manager & Club Accessory Set," for their everyday bishojo plastic model series "Sousai Shojo Teien," slated for release in April 2026.
The "Sousai Shojo Teien" spin-off series is a new project that utilizes parts from the main series characters to create entirely new ones. The new character introduced this time is a sports club manager, reminiscent of those found in bishojo games, featuring a cute red ponytail and wearing a light blue sailor uniform, embodying a bright and dazzling sports girl. The product not only includes various accessories to pose the manager in charming ways but also comes with newly sculpted ball sports equipment, showcasing her athletic side!
The manager's body is based on a modified version of the series' flagship character, Yuki Madoka. The head's front hair parts come with three interchangeable types: "normal," "glasses-compatible," and "3mm joint type." Additionally, four newly designed expression parts by illustrator Morikura En are included, both pre-painted and unpainted: "smiling face," "pouting face," "shouting face," and "blushing face." A water-slide decal sheet with various eye expressions is also provided for customisation.
The body parts feature pre-painted white lines on the sailor uniform collar and sleeves. In addition to being posable with flexible joints, three different skirt parts are included—"normal," "flowing," and "sitting"—to accommodate dynamic and static poses. Furthermore, replacement parts such as a "neck joint for leaning forward," "body for leaning forward," and "lower body for sitting" are provided to fix body postures, allowing for more natural poses compared to a fully articulated body.
In addition to two types of mobile phones, a display stand, and various PVC hand parts, a total of ten new club accessories are included: a baseball bat, baseball, baseball (with effect part), baseball glove, badminton racket, shuttlecock, tennis racket, tennis ball, racket storage bag, and soccer ball. The storage bag faithfully recreates its opening/closing mechanism and storage function, while the baseball (with effect part) and soccer ball feature 3mm ports, allowing them to be displayed in a floating state with compatible articulated stands.
