GASHAPON "Nissin Cup Noodle Marker Charms" Gashapon, Six Popular Flavors Transform into Mini Marker Charms!

BANDAI GASHAPON, the capsule toy division of Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan, is launching a new product with a Nissin Cup Noodle theme: the "Nissin Cup Noodle Marker Charms" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled for release in the third week of January 2026!

First released in September 1971, "Cup Noodle" is Nissin Foods' cup noodle brand and the world's first cup noodle. Initially, due to its higher price, it wasn't frequently purchased. However, during the Asama Sanso Incident initiated by the United Red Army in February 1972, Cup Noodle was distributed to the Metropolitan Police Department's riot squad at the scene, despite temperatures of -15 degrees Celsius and a lack of supplies. Images of officers enjoying the cup noodles were captured by the news, and from then on, its reputation spread like wildfire, becoming a household name for instant noodles!

GASHAPON's Marker Charm series features a rubber ring attached to the charm, allowing it to be placed on items like umbrellas or water bottles for identification, preventing mix-ups! This "Nissin Cup Noodle Marker Charms" Gashapon transforms several of Nissin's Cup Noodle flavors into small charms, approximately 2.3 cm in size. It includes six varieties: Cup Noodle, Cup Noodle Seafood, Cup Noodle Curry, Cup Noodle Chili Tomato, Cup Noodle Tom Yum Goong, and Cup Noodle Singapore Laksa. The perfect printing on these small charms faithfully reproduces the lettering on the cup noodles. Whether used purely as a charm or as a marker on an umbrella, they are very eye-catching. They're so appealing, they'll make you hungry!
