Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS original gashapon "Can Character! (カンキャラ)" series is set to release its latest product featuring the popular Sanrio Stars theme: "Can Character! Sanrio Stars" gashapon. There will be five types, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per turn, expected to be released in January 2026.
"Can Character!" is a series themed around characters peeking out from cans. The first wave will feature five Sanrio characters: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll, and Nyaniyu Nyaunyu! The biggest highlight of the series is its unique presentation, perfectly blending the "realism" of the can with the "cuteness" of the characters. The texture of the can and the curve of the opened lid are meticulously recreated, with the characters emerging from the cans in adorable poses! Inside the cans, cute little hearts are hidden, and the patterns printed on the can labels are also exquisitely designed.
