American toy manufacturer Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format series has launched a new Marvel Comics-themed product – the "Jubilee" 1/4 scale collectible statue. With a suggested retail price of US$1,050, it is now available for pre-order on the Sideshow official website, with an estimated shipping date between July and October 2026!
Jubilee first appeared in the comics in issue #244 of Uncanny X-Men, released in 1989. Her real name is Jubilation Lee, and she attended MIT. She possesses the ability to generate multi-colored, brilliant energy spheres resembling fireworks and detonate them at will.
This Jubilee 1/4 scale collectible statue stands approximately 47 cm tall, crafted to replicate her classic comic book appearance. It captures her in a dynamic, agile leap on a custom skateboard. Her costume faithfully recreates the classic 90s style: a yellow trench coat, pink crop top, blue shorts, paired with matching boots and gloves, even including the adorable keychain detail!
The statue includes two head sculpts: one features her vibrant smile blowing bubblegum, while the other depicts her wearing sunglasses to protect her eyes from the effects of her own fireworks! The base is sculpted to resemble a Sentinel robot arm and the colorful fireworks effects emanating from her hands. These can be combined with the built-in LED light-up function to recreate the dazzling visual effects when she uses her powers!
