MONCOLLE "Pokémon 30th Anniversary First Partners" Sets, Featuring Starter Pokémon from All Nine Regions!

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, Japan's TAKARA TOMY toy company is releasing nine special "First Partners" sets under its high-quality Pokémon character figure series, "MONCOLLE (モンコレ)". Each set has a suggested retail price of 2,145 JPY and is scheduled for release on February 28, 2026!

Since the release of Pokémon Red/Green in 1996, players have been able to choose one of three elemental Pokémon—Grass, Fire, or Water—referred to by players as "Starter Pokémon," as their first partner to begin their adventure. This setting has been consistent throughout the Pokémon game and anime series, with each generation of games featuring Grass, Fire, and Water-type Starter Pokémon from different regions.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, TAKARA TOMY has specially launched nine MONCOLLE Starter Pokémon sets, covering the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea regions. Each set includes the three first partners from its respective region. The sides of the outer box are printed with the representative colors of that region's game series, and the top features the 30th-anniversary text. Additionally, a windowed design allows for perfect display without needing to unbox them!
