Japanese gashapon manufacturer Kitan Club (キタンクラブ) is launching a highly anticipated gashapon product—the "Cat Paw Sake Cup (Nekoashi Ochoko)" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, with an expected release in late January 2026!
This "Cat Paw Sake Cup" collection draws inspiration from feline paws, transforming their round, plump form into ceramic sake cups approximately 4.8 cm tall. Each cup meticulously recreates the paw pads at the bottom and the distinctive cat patterns on the body. The collection features five charming variations: White Cat, Black Cat, Brown & White Cat, Calico Cat, and Mackerel Tabby Cat. With a capacity of approximately 60ml, these cups are perfectly sized as "one-shot sake cups" (guinomi). Beyond their primary use, they can also serve as small dishes or charming containers for tiny trinkets. Whether for a delightful sip or as an adorable collectible display, these are an absolute must-have for all cat lovers!
