MDLX "Mega Man X Zero Articulated Figure" Features Partial Die-Cast Articulated Frame, Recreating Signature "Zero Buster" and "Z-Saber" Armaments!

Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero has announced the latest product in its collectible robot character model "MDLX" series, which features a compact 3-7 inch scale. Following "X", the new item is "Zero" from the video game "Mega Man X" series, slated for release in Q4 2026.

Zero, one of the game's protagonists, is a Special A-Class Maverick Hunter with extremely high combat capabilities. However, he is actually Dr. Wily's final creation before his death, equipped with a "Robot Destruction Program" and programmed with an "absolute evil" personality. Even Dr. Wily realized he couldn't control it with this design and ultimately sealed it away. A century later, the seal was broken for unknown reasons, and the awakened Zero became a rampaging Maverick. After Sigma, who was then a Maverick Hunter, defeated Zero, Zero's berserk personality transformed into a calm, composed one that hated evil. Sigma then recruited him into his 17th Elite Unit for observation, and he later became X's comrade.

The "MDLX Zero" is based on his appearance from Mega Man X3 to X6 and features over 36 points of articulation within its approximately 12.5 cm (4.9 inches) height. The entire articulated frame is constructed from alloy parts and plastic materials such as ABS, enhancing the tightness of the joints and the overall handling feel, allowing for stable posing in various stances despite its small size. Magnets are also hidden within the soles of his feet, enabling Zero to attach to metal surfaces, recreating his wall-climbing and jumping poses from the game.

Accessories include an interchangeable gritted-teeth expression part for combat. In addition to 3 types of interchangeable hand parts for both hands, the "Zero Buster" projectile weapon part can be attached to either the left or right hand. The signature "Z-Saber" comes with three different curved blade effects to represent varying degrees of swing force, and these effect parts utilize clear plastic and gradient painting to depict stronger energy closer to the hilt.

Furthermore, threezero is also simultaneously releasing a special edition, which, in addition to all the contents of the regular edition, also includes a "1-UP" extra life item, styled identically to Zero's helmet from the game.
