Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya's popular "Frame Arms Girl" plastic model kit series has announced its latest product, "Stylet Swimsuit Low Visibility Ver.", scheduled for release in June 2026.
Stylet is based on the Frame Arms "Stylet" designed by Takayuki Yanase, and was redesigned by renowned illustrator Fumikane Shimada into a twin-tailed girl with blue pigtails and aerial combat armor. In the TV anime version, Stylet has extremely high, unyielding self-esteem, and once her spirit is wounded, her whole body stiffens and turns to stone. She is also one of the few common-sense Frame Arms Girls in the Gennai household, often serving as the tsukkomi (straight man) to others' outrageous behavior, but frequently becomes the target of teasing amidst the commotion.
The "Stylet Swimsuit Low Visibility Ver." is a modification of the "Stylet Swimsuit Ver." kit released in 2025. All parts' molding colors have been replaced with the previously released Low Visibility version, featuring characteristic green hair and gray-toned armaments. The swimsuit design is specially crafted as a high-cut competitive swimsuit to reduce air resistance, and this version further changes the abdominal part to skin tone, presenting a bold design with the entire abdomen cut out.
Pre-painted face parts include three newly designed expressions: "Elegant Smile," "Shouting Smile," and "Surprised Face." Five pairs of PVC interchangeable hands with ball joints are included. The head not only allows for swapping armored/unarmored front hair parts but also comes with interchangeable cat ears, mechanical cat ears, mechanical fox ears, mechanical upright dog ears, mechanical floppy dog ears, mechanical hair ornaments, black mechanical cat ears, and more, allowing for a wide variety of expression changes. For armaments, it includes a submachine gun integrated with a water gun liquid container design, and a smart rifle. The back thrusters can be detached and displayed as a small fighter jet.
