Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO, under its "MAXIMATIC" model series known for its overwhelming sense of volume and high satisfaction, will release a new product featuring the popular anime and manga series *My Hero Academia*—"Katsuki Bakugo," scheduled to be released as a prize figure in February 2026!
Katsuki Bakugo's Quirk is "Explosion." He has a terrible personality and has bullied Izuku since childhood, even giving him the demeaning nickname "Deku." Yet, like Izuku, he dreams of becoming a hero like All Might. His powerful Quirk has forged his unyielding character, and after Izuku gradually surpassed him, he experienced remarkable growth in his mindset, making him a powerful hero who can keep pace with Izuku!
This MAXIMATIC Katsuki Bakugo stands approximately 20 cm tall, adopting his appearance from the FINAL SEASON when he reawakened after being treated by Paper Shot and battled All For One. The sculpt faithfully recreates the damage and wrinkles on his Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight costume after intense combat. Details such as the support gear on his right arm inherited from All Might and the scratches on his kneepads are meticulously reproduced, and the explosion effects between his hands add a perfect finishing touch! Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside "MAXIMATIC Izuku Midoriya II" and "MAXIMATIC Shoto Todoroki II," which are also in their final battle poses and are scheduled for release in January and March respectively, to enhance the display's impact!
