In the 2026 new product announcement released on the official X account of SEGA Prize, a brand under Japan's SEGA Corporation, it was revealed that the "FIGURIZMα" series, known for its expressiveness, completeness, and color details, will launch a new product based on the popular anime 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' – 'Frieren ~Flower Dance~'. It is scheduled to be released as a prize item in early summer 2026!
'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' tells the story of Frieren, an elf protagonist with an exceptionally long lifespan, who once defeated the Demon King alongside Hero Himmel and his party. However, it was only after Himmel's passing that she gradually came to understand the fleeting yet brilliant nature of human life. To better comprehend human emotions, Frieren embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her former comrades.
This FIGURIZMα Frieren ~Flower Dance~ is based on the storyline from the second episode of the anime, where Frieren spends a significant amount of time researching how to grow Blue Moon Weeds, Himmel's favorite flower, in front of his statue. From the currently released images, it appears she is depicted floating upside down in the air using magic. Details such as her flowing twin tails and the wrinkles in her skirt are exquisitely reproduced, surrounded by Blue Moon Weed effects crafted from translucent material, creating an overall ethereal and beautiful atmosphere!
