"Izanami!"
Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize brand BANPRESTO, under its "VIBRATION STARS" series which showcases dynamic character poses, has unveiled two new products based on the popular anime "Naruto Shippuden"—"Itachi Uchiha (Edo Tensei)" and "Kabuto Yakushi (Sage Mode)". They are scheduled to be released as prize items in June 2026!
The battle between Itachi and Kabuto occurred at the beginning of the Fourth Great Ninja War. Itachi and Sasuke teamed up to fight Kabuto, who had mastered Ryūchi Cave Sage Mode. Ultimately, Itachi risked losing his left eye to activate the Uchiha forbidden jutsu Izanami, trapping Kabuto in an infinite loop of consciousness. This successfully guided Kabuto to rediscover himself and release the Edo Tensei jutsu.
These two VIBRATION STARS figures bring to life the scene from "Shippuden" anime episode 338, where Kabuto repeatedly experiences the illusion after Itachi activates the forbidden jutsu Izanami. They meticulously sculpt and recreate the appearance of Edo Tensei Itachi and Sage Mode Kabuto. The wrinkles on Itachi's robe and the snake head extending from Kabuto's stomach are exquisitely reproduced, and details such as Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan and Kabuto's horns, which are repeatedly severed in the genjutsu, are also faithfully recreated. They can be displayed together to recreate the classic scene from the anime!
