Last April, Lucasfilm surprised fans at Star Wars Celebration with the announcement of a new animated series, "Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord," set to explore a dedicated storyline for the iconic former Sith Lord, Maul. "Shadow Lord" is set chronologically between the final season of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels." The series will delve into Maul's ambitious plan to rebuild his criminal organization and train an apprentice on a planet untouched by the Empire in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. Sam Witwer, who famously voiced Maul in both "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels," returns to reprise his role.
