TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, preemptively announced yesterday (22nd) on its official Instagram account that the popular character "Seto Kaiba" from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters" will be commercialized under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand!
Seto Kaiba, President of KaibaCorp, is hailed as Japan's strongest duelist. In his previous life, he was the priest Seto, who assisted the Pharaoh. He is the inventor of the Duel Disk virtual imaging system and the founder of Duel Academy. Advocating a dueling philosophy where technology and rationality supersede all, he stands at the pinnacle of the dueling world with overwhelming strength and a cold personality, regarding Yugi Muto as his sole rival.
From the currently revealed product images, the sculpting faithfully recreates the President's classic appearance, and, like the previously released "S.H.Figuarts Yami Yugi," it includes a Duel Disk accessory. It's definitely meant to be displayed alongside the "S.H.MonsterArts Blue-Eyes White Dragon" released in 2023 to recreate dueling scenes! Further details will be announced later, it's already incredibly exciting!
