Released in August 2023, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, as the first mainline installment in the Armored Core series in a decade, coupled with FromSoftware's global fanbase gained from its "Souls-like" games, has seen this once niche title undergo a complete transformation.
Recently, Meatoma, a brand specializing in video game merchandise, announced the release of three-dimensional plush cushions of the larval "Mealworms" featured in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. These will be available in two sizes, with sales beginning on January 30th. This item, which was previously displayed by the official team at event venues, has now been officially commercialized.

Players who have experienced Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon should be familiar with the "Mealworms." These peculiar-looking creatures are roughly the size of a tank in real life, and their colossal appearance is hard to miss in the game, with their design being beloved by many players.

The official team had previously showcased this plush at a limited-time pop-up store celebrating the game's first anniversary. However, it was still under development at the time and not available for sale. Now, it is finally being offered to the public.

The "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Mealworm Plush (Small)" is priced at 2,200 JPY. Despite its mini size, the exterior details are meticulously crafted, faithfully reproducing its unique shape, and it comes with a ball chain, allowing it to be carried on a bag.

As for the "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Mealworm Plush (Large)," priced at 18,150 JPY, it is a substantial, full-sized product. Not only does the interior of its mouth feature depth, but the tactile sensation has also been specially considered, resulting in a high overall level of completion. It makes for a significant decorative piece when placed at home.
