BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan is set to release its latest plastic model kit from the anime series "Mashin Hero Wataru," the "HG Ryuo-maru," on January 31, 2026. Ahead of its release, the official channels have unveiled new information including the product's box art design and actual sample images.
龍王丸是一度死去的龍神丸透過聖水復活，並與空神丸的靈魂合體而成的新形態，由於體內寄宿空神丸的靈魂而獲得飛行能力，能從人形的「魔神型態」變形為鳥形的「鳳王型態」。招式的型態基本與龍神丸相同，但威力已大幅提昇，武器與必殺技也從「登龍劍」變成為力量更強大的「鳳龍劍」。
「HG 龍王丸」運用萬代最新分色分件技術製作，全身運用白、黑、灰、紅、金、深藍、透明藍、透明綠等豐富的零件成型色再現機身，雙肩上的龍紋浮雕以獨立分割零件呈現，無需貼紙或上色就能大幅還原動畫中洗練、帥氣的設計造型。此外還附上浮出金色龍紋的額頭零件（金色部分使用貼紙補色），能再現施展必殺技「鳳龍劍」時的狀態。
Despite its short stature, the kit is designed with extensive movable armor divisions and flexible joints. A pull-out mechanism in the waist enhances the hip joint's range of motion, and the knee armor is linked to the knee joint. Movable axes hidden within the shoulder armor expand the range of motion for both arms, and the two chest armor pieces connected to the shoulders can be pulled significantly forward, allowing for the iconic pose of holding the sword overhead to unleash the special move "Horyuken."
Accessories include weapons such as the "Horyuken" and "Sheath Shield." The golden dragon claws on the shoulders completely cover the hollow parts and can be detached at any time to recreate the "Ryuga-ken" firing state. Furthermore, through the main body's transformation mechanism and by replacing some parts, Ryuo-maru can transform into its "Ho-Oh Form." In Ho-Oh Form, the wings and legs maintain a certain degree of articulation, the head recreates movable mouth parts, and the built-in "Horeiha" cannon muzzle is reproduced.
The product is also compatible with separately sold kits such as the "HG Ryujinmaru DX Ver.," allowing for even more immersive battle scenes with effects like "Hiryu-ken Effect" and "Toryu-ken Effect"!
