The gashapon toy brand 『CAPSULE-DOU』, launched in collaboration between Hong Kong toy brand threezero and Japanese company HMA, has announced that its original series 'Mecha Frontline,' themed around military-style sci-fi robots, is currently under development. Sales are anticipated to begin within 2026, and they have also preemptively revealed development prototypes, mecha designs, and other information.

The 'Mecha Frontline' series consists of snap-fit assembly robot model gashapon toys. Once assembled, each mecha stands approximately 6 cm tall, and each joint features articulation. Multiple connection points are present on the body for weapon expansion. From the current lineup of the first wave, each gashapon capsule will contain one mecha in one of four molded color versions, along with a weapon set. Although the models are not large and do not have many parts, the detailing is incredibly precise and rich, making them highly suitable for brush painting.
threezero has also unveiled several mecha design drafts to be released in 'Mecha Frontline,' including the 'VI-20 Paracrax' slated for the first wave, as well as mechas like the 'Type 18 Vehicle Infantry Stone Dragon' and 'MII-15 Stainer'.
